Womens Black
What do you think of “religious” “black” or “womens” colleges and universities?
Ones divided by categories like that… do you think it is a good way to intensify the field of study and specialize, catering to a particular demographics need, or do you think College is about broadening your horizons and this is racist and unhealthy.
I think that these kind of colleges are unhealthy. I had no choice but to go to a Woman’s University for my degree because they had accepted me in a program that I really wanted. I spent three horrible years there with no good memories. The program was excellent, but the instructors were at each others throats and 30 girls in one class was not fun. There was cat fights, gossipping, etc….It’s always good at schools to have a mixture of males and females. I also believe at work places there should be a balance of both sexes also. It eliminates tension and makes the place more fun to work.
