How to Print Great Flyers Cheaply
Contrary to popular belief, flyer printing is no longer an expensive advertising medium. The downward spiral of prices is mostly driven by an increase in demand and improvements in printing technology.
Flyers have been around for years. They have worked for many direct marketers, and will continue to work for other businesses for years to come. Here are some quick tips on how to print great flyers cheaply.
1) Print in black and white if color is not necessary.
Black and white printing is very effective for communicating simple messages. For example, you may want to create a flyer that looks like a news article. For such a design, print a bold headline with a smaller font sub-topic, followed by the rest of the article texts. The headline will be able to grab the attention of whoever receives the flyer, and your goal is accomplished without having to pay for color printing.
2) Print single sided flyers.
Go for double sided printing only when a single side flyer cannot contain all vital messages. Many people just scan flyers when they receive them, and most may just throw the flyers away if your flyer does not catch their attention during the first few seconds. Many people won’t finish reading what is on the first page. Hence, there is little need for double sided printing. If you really want to print double sided flyers, make sure that the marketing messages on the first page is powerful enough to lure the reader to read more on the second page.
3) Choose the paper quality carefully.
You choice of paper quality depends on several factors. It depends on your target audience, and the type of products and services that you are trying to promote. Generally speaking, flyers that are printed on 300 GSM paper serves most purposes. If you are targeting the masses, you may even want to consider choosing lower quality paper. This helps to lower cost.
4) Print in bulk.
Always print in bulk whenever possible. The larger the order, the lower the cost of printing for each flyer. This will help lower the cost of acquiring each new customer. Of course, when you print in bulk, make sure that your flyer works! Otherwise, you will be wasting time and money.
5) Save on shipping.
Order from a local printer. For instance, if you reside in UK, order from a printer that offers free delivering for all UK orders. This will help you to save on shipping. Usually, if a printer is good, you will find yourself ordering more flyers from the same printer again and again. In the long run, this will help save you a substantial amount of money.
6) Look out for discounts.
Service providers are always looking for ways to promote their services. They do so by offering discounts every now and then. Capitalize on such deals and you may find yourself saving a bundle!
The methods discussed above will help save you a small fortune. Remember, you can still save while printing great flyers!

Dawn of the Dead (Ultimate Edition) $8.69 George Romero’s 1978 follow-up to his classic Night of the Living Dead is quite terrifying and gory (those zombies do like the taste of living flesh). This time, we follow the fortunes of four people who lock themselves inside a shopping mall to get away from the marauding dead and who then im… |
