Their goal was to make clothes that were both comfortable and stylish. Juicy Couture has been a leader in the fashion world since the beginning. Juicy Couture has also featured maternity clothing, incorporating jeans and t-shirts into the maternity line.
The spotlight moved more to women’s clothing as the business expanded. Women’s clothing became the main focus as the business grew. At the time, the company focused on sports apparel for women.
The parent company of this line of clothing is Liz Claiborne. Juicy Couture is well known for its tracksuits sewn from velour and terrycloth fabric. Terrycloth and leather handbags are also available.
Many famous celebrities like to show off the Juicy Couture line of apparel. Much of their fashion is tagged with a slogan that plays upon their name. Their slogans include such catch phrases as “Be Juicy,” and “Wake Up And Smell the Couture.”
Juicy Couture was sued by the Proctor and Gamble Corporation for using the phrase “Love P&G” to market their apparel, so they swapped the letters around in order to move forward. The phrase is now known as “Love G&P.”
The company expanded to encompass clothing for men, children, and babies. Expanding even further, now even socks and diaper bags are available. For you canine lovers, the company has expanded into canine country. They market a wide variety of merchandise for the canine in your life from leashes and collars to toys and outfits for any occasion. Quite a collection, isn’t it?
In their contemporary women’s clothing line, they offer linen dresses with three-quarter sleeves and sundresses that show off shoulders and neck. Even after being washed several times, the custom made tracksuits look and feel like new. The clothing’s colors are the driving force behind their popularity with women.
