One of my electric stove top burners gets so hot, it melts the paint off the rim What’s wrong with it?
I just moved into a house and the stove is probably 6-7 years old. Whenever I use the largest burner (it has 3 smaller ones) it gets the rim of that burner so hot it melts paint off of it. Also, the stove top itself seems way too hot. What’s wrong with it? Thank you for your help! Happy Thanksgiving!
sounds like the switch is allowing more power to go to that eye than it should make sure there is no alum. foil under the eye also make sure the drip pan is the correct one for the eye,someone may have removed the insulation from under the cook top
