How old were you when you got your first pair of proper stockings/thigh highs..?
For a girl being given your first pair of stockings is almost like a rite of passage, it was for me and my friends anyway. When did you get your first pair, and did you go buy them yourself or were they given to you by your mum etc..?
15. My mother had started requiring me to wear skirts and dresses everyday the year before, but I wore pantyhose with them. In order to express my own fashion sense, I started collecting and wearing vintage dresses and it wasn’t long before I discovered fully fashioned seamed stockings, garter belts and girdles as well.
