Keeping the Romance Burning
How do we keep the romance burning with the busy schedules that everyone leads? I am not a relationship expert by any means, but I have learned a lot from my experiences as a former massage therapist and listening to clients talk. Now as lingerie store owner I am still talking daily with people about the same thing. If you are a couple, busy running around balancing work, kids, and your home, how do we find the time for each other? Here are some helpful suggestions and tips to help keep the romance burning.
Set 30 minutes a day a side to spend with your partner. This is a tip I learned from my grandparents. My grandparents had 8 children, so to say they were busy is an understatement. It was the house rule in their home to have 30 minutes alone together when my grandfather came home from work. My grandmother would get them something to drink then they would sit down together and unwind for the day. In our home, we have carried on that tradition. We don’t talk about work, the kids, or the bills. Those things are discussed at a different time. It is simply our time to enjoy each others company. It works beautiful and has made our home a much happier place to be. A great example is being set for our kids to learn to appreciate each others company. My suggestion if you have small children make it their tv or video time. Keeps them quiet and happy so you can enjoy each other. The time of day you choose to do this doesn’t really matter. The key is to make that time. If 30 minutes is to long than work up to it. Several of our friends have started to do this and it has made remarkable changes in their relationships.
Take a couple minutes out for yourself each day. It gives you the chance to recharge. You will gain more patience because you took that time. What a difference it makes in our lives to be able to focus on our families because we took that time for ourselves.
Wearing some sexy lingerie does wonders for your relationship. It’s simple, men are visual and they always have been. I don’t know a man alive who doesn’t find lingerie sexy on a woman. Men love garter belts with thigh high stockings. There is nothing sexier to man than to see his woman undo her skirt and find a garter belt. There are lots of lingerie styles that can be worn with your every day clothes that will drive your man wild. Just look at numbers of different kind of panties and bras that are available out there. You have thongs, g-strings, boy shorts, lacy bras, push-up bras, silk bras and the list goes on. Teddies, bustiers and corsets can be worn with your day time attire. Just think about how sexy you would feel knowing you have your favorite lingerie on. Not mention how much fun it is for your man to undress you. You don’t have to look like Jennifer Aniston to wear it. So throw the concerns about body type out the window. Let’s face it most women wear less clothing to the beach than they do to bed. What’s wrong with that picture? If you are not sure what kind of lingerie your partner would like to see, talk them about it during your 30 minutes of alone time. It is sure to bring up some interesting conversation at the very least. Go to the store or online with your partner and pick some lingerie out together. Men love to buy their partner lingerie. Being a lingerie store owner, I can assure you men are some of our biggest and best clients.
Then there is the playful side to lingerie, the adult costume side. There is a huge market out there for adult costumes. They range from cute and sexy to naughty or nice. Examples range from the school teacher, french maid, naughty nurse, and so on. Costumes can be a lot of fun because you can take on a whole new alter ego.
My last suggestion for today is quick sexy communications through out the day. This can be do in numerous ways. I prefer the phone or texting each other but you can always email eachother. Just remember to be careful with email because a lot of companies monitor their employees company email addresses. If you want to use email I would recommend using your personal email address only.
