Tank Swimsuit
What kind of swimsuit should I wear on my school field trip to the pool??
I have a lil bit of a chubby stomach and I HATE 1 piece suits. The teachers said if we wear a bikini we have to wear a tank or tee over it (yes, even in the water). My crush will be there. I’m not a very good swimmer, so I don’t want a suit that will make me sink even more than now. I have a summery light tan, so oranges, greens, pinks, and blues are the colors I typically go with. My skin tone is very versatile. I have a budget of UNDER $50 for it, I can still fit in some girls swimwear and juniors. I’m 5’1″ and around 100 pounds and 12 (almost 13) years old. Ideas??
Yeah- I ♥ Tankinis!! I usually do get them at Target and Kohls!! Any other places, I’m a size 5 in juniors and 14/16 or 16/18 in girls??
For your budget I would suggest getting a swimsuit at Target…or even Macys. I prefer places like American Eagle and even Hollister, and I’m sure with your budget you could even try these stores. Personally, for a SCHOOL field trip I would suggest not wearing a bikini. I feel the same way about my weight, not that I’m that big, but I just don’t like bikinis. I love tankinis…a tank top bathing suit top and a regular bottom. It still is two piece but keeps you pretty covered up and maybe shows your belly button. You can find all kinds of cute, summery patterns and anything summery is fun and adorable! Just don’t show too much and I hope you have a good time!
