Made To Measure Shirts Online – The Best Kept Secret In Men’S Dress Shirts
Like most men, you probably have the problem of not being able to find a dress shirt that fits your body type exactly. Rarely do you find someone who has the exact dimensions for a standard sized dress shirt so often times many men are plagued with improperly fitting dress shirts. 3. Half Bespoke – A step up, fit wise, from an athletic or slim fit dress shirt. They allow for men who have irregularly sized necks or long arms to get a more “customized” shirt. But these shirts still tend to have a baddy waist.
4. Made-to-Measure – These shirts provide the optimal fit. Every dimension of the shirt is made according to your body and often times the shirt maker will take a greater effort in satisfying the customer needs. But the quality and fit of these dress shirts depend on the accuracy of the measurements and experience of the tailor.
The first thing that may come to your mind when you hear made-to-measure dress shirts or custom dress shirts is that they will be significantly more expensive than a standard ready-to-wear dress shirt and in most cases this is true. One alternative to overcoming the price of those expensive made-to-measure dress shirts is to buy a standard sized dress shirt that fits you somewhat well and take it to a tailor to improve the fit a little bit more. Now although this is a very reasonable option, the shirt won’t fit nearly as well as a made-to-measure shirt and you won’t have the options of changing certain components of the dress shirt such as the collar or cuff.
There are many popular online stores that offer this quality service at a fraction of its normal cost. Don’t hesitate to look for made to measure shirts online because you’re unsure on how to take the measurements. These sites usually have a detailed guide on how to properly take the measurements. And since you’re taking the measurements, you’ll be in complete control on the final fit of the shirt. Don’t worry about choosing the different components of the dress shirt either. Many sites offer resources and information on how the different parts of the dress shirts compliment the different body types.
