Denim is a great year-round fabric. Designers have become very creative with their use of lace, ribbon and jeweled enhancements on jackets, skirts and slacks. The design lines are interesting, not just plain looking like regular jeans or jeans jackets.

Otherwise, cold water wash in a gentle detergent will also keep the fabric from fading. There are even detergents that are specifically for dark clothes and cold water.
