Who are the top 5 centers to ever play in the NBA?
I got:
1) Bill Russell – Just a flat out winner with a lot of heart.
2) Kareem Abdul Jabbar – Great skills, amazing hook, another winner.
3) Wilt Chamberlain – Great player but played against people much smaller against him with the exception of Russell who won most of the championships in the era.
4) Hakeem Olajuwon – All time blocks leader(partly because russell and chamberlain weren’t accounted for) and two time champion, with a finesse game unmatched. Plus he dominated shaq after his prime and in shaq’s early athletic years.
5) Shaq – Flat out dominant and has won plenty also. Not much skills. Could be a negative factor comes crunch time with his horrible free throw shooting.
