The newest addition to the Blackberry Pearl range of mobile phones is the new Blackberry 8110 Pink edition which has now been made available to buy on O2 in the UK.
The new Pink Blackberry 8110 which is also known as the Blackberry Pearl as was the 8100 series before it offers some more advanced features and technology that the previous model and obviously a brand spanking new colour to the Blackberry portfolio – Pink!
Not just improved with WiFi capabilites, the Blackberry Pearl 8110 Pink will also be available in a range of colours to choose from.
Equipped with a 2.0 mega pixel camera with 5 x digital zoom and built-in flash and video capture with a choice of two resolutions, the Pink Blackberry Pearl 8120 successfully combines business communication functions with multimedia features, providing a complete solution.
A Quad Band GSM device with GPRS and EDGE Technology, the Blackberry Pearl 8110 Pink Smartphone includes Advanced Phone features such as Speaker Independant Voice Recognition and Voice Activated Dialing plus Bluetooth Wireless v2.0 with A2DP Stereo support.
Boasting a Qwerty keyboard with SureType software, Organiser, Media Player, Document Viewer, Blackberry Email Client, Web Browser, USB Connectivity and 64MB of expandable memory, its surprising just how much RIM have managed to fit into this compact smartphone, weighing just 91 grams.
RIM have even managed to squeeze in an enhanced audio feature which filters out background noise interruptions to improve the phones audio quality when making calls, allowing users to give their undivided attention to the person on the other end.
This is a smart move by the manufacturer as women have little choice when it comes to advanced PDA and email mobile phones in fashionable colours, the Blackberry 8110 Pink is the first pink Blackberry phone to be released and with announcements that they will also be launching this very same model in other colours which include Yellow, Blue and Green it looks like a colourful future for Blackberry.
