Examples Of Paintings Of Flowers

Paintings of flowers are beautiful and often quite popular. There are different types of paintings. Some of these include oil, acrylic, and watercolor.

In addition, there are different styles that artists use when they paint with oil, acrylic, and watercolor. These include realism, surrealism, primitivism, impressionism, expressionism, and abstraction. There are also well-known artists in each of these categories.

Realism is a style of painting that shows objects exactly as they appear in real life. This began in the 18th century but the best of the realists were in the middle of the 19th century. Most realist painters were from France but others were American as well. Leonardo Da Vinci might be one of the most popular realist painters in history.

Surrealism is a style of painting that is usually based on dreams. These are filled with objects that are familiar that are painted to look mysterious or strange. The surrealist artists wanted their odd paintings to make people look at the world in a different way and with different feelings. Max Ernst might be one of the most talked-about surrealist artists, as the majority of his paintings are quite unusual.

Primitivism is a style of painting that looks like it was done by a little child. This usually means that the painting is very simple and the objects are two-dimensional or flat. Paul Klee is an example of a primitive painter.

Impressionism is a style of painting where the artist simply looks at an object quickly and then paints from memory. They are usually in bold colors and are made to look as if they are shimmering. Also, they do not have much detail in them and are mostly of landscapes, including flowers. This style was developed in the late 19th century and early 20th century in France. Perhaps one of the most popular of the impressionistic painters is Claude Monet.

Expressionism is a style of painting where the artist attempts to express specific feelings about the object. Painters in this genre are more concerned with expressing feelings in the piece instead of having it look completely realistic and exactly like the object that they are painting. Some popular people in this expressionistic genre include Wassily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall, and Ludwig Kirchner.

Abstraction is a style of painting where the artist feels like the painting does not have to show objects in a totally recognizable fashion. They also paint animals, people, and places in a way that they are not exactly how they look in real life. Colors and shapes are used to show emotions. Some abstract paintings are sometimes called non-objective. This style is when viewers do not see specific objects because they are not painted to appear as though they actually are something specific. Two popular painters in the abstract style include Jackson Pollock and Sonia Delaunay.

Paintings of flowers can be rather beautiful. Throughout the years, many artists have painted landscapes and flowers of many varieties. Many of them are very realistic and detailed and others invoke feelings. Regardless of what kind or style they are, flower paintings are worth viewing.

Velvet Underground & Nico

Velvet Underground & Nico

$1.63

When the Velvets recorded this debut, they were best known as the protégés of Andy Warhol (who designed the sleeve), and as a grating, combustive live band. Fueled by drummer Moe Tucker’s no-nonsense wham and John Cale’s howling viola, some of the straight-up rock & roll and arty noise extravaganzas here bear that out. But before Lou Reed was singing about sadomasochism and drug deals and writin…
