Can one use the tire size on Ford Expolorer 2002 – Eddie Bauer on Ford Explorer 2002 XLS?
I have just bought an explorer but tire specifications are not in the manual that followed it. I usually like having big tires and through my reading the Eddie Bauer has a slightly bigger tire.
Yes, you can fit bigger tiers on it if they fit on the Eddie Bauer version, the difference from that one and the XLS is the trim level, they had the same body and same suspension, so the tires and wheels will work from one to the other. Your recomended tire size is 235/70-16
