Dress Set
Does anyone have tips on how heavier-set guys should dress?
In most fashion publications and websites, I’m constantly seeing how-to’s for heavier-set women to dress to look thinner, minimize certain areas, and altogether look better – but I see almost nothing for bigger guys! Anyone have any tips or tricks on how to dress to look great without having to resort to some hideous plain Beefy-T? Thanks!
Firstly, I’m not sure how ‘beefy’ you are..but layers are my first thought! With summer coming to an end layers will be helpful. Wearing a shirt or printed tee under a blazer can look casual but smart*. In chilly weather add a scarf. Both the blazer and the scarf will help camouflage any access bulge. As for the bottom, always wear a boot-cut or straight legged trouser…anything too tapered will make you appear top heavy and bigger than you are.
