How to alter cup size on corset?
I was gifted some very expensive lingerie set by my friend which consists of 3 corset-bra’s. The label has the right size of the bra i wear, however, when i wear this corset the cups are somehow a bit bigger..and stand out a bit hollow..offering no support to my breasts.
I cant exchnage the lingerie..i want to know if its possible to get the cups size altered by a tailor? only genuine experiences please.
wud like to add that ..i already have a good bust size..and my usual non-padded bras flatter my bust, wearing padded bras would make my boobs look oversized! so..padding the corsets wouldnt work too well. if anything, i need advice on how to reduce the cup size somehow,
..errr… how about if someone knows how to reduce cups size in a bra without padding? by stitching or something? thanks.
No, not usually. You might find someone who will try, but it will cost more than the corset, and it won’t look right when they’re done. Better idea would be to tack (sew) just a bit of padding to the inside so it fits better.
