Black Designer Saree: A Classic Style Statement
As the Little Black Dress, a.k.a. LBD, is a fashion staple in the West, so is the Black Designer Saree a must-have for every Indian wardrobe. A black outfit being a fashion staple or, alternatively, the Little Black Dress as the ultimate evening wear was epitomized by the legendary designer, Coco Chanel. Over the years, this rule of fashion concerning black as the last word in fashion has gradually influenced Indian fashion scenario as well.
Every Indian woman should posses at least one all-black outfit, be it a Saree, Salwar Kameez or Churidar Kameez. But since Saree is the most appealing and timeless of all Indian outfits, owning a black Saree becomes highly imperative. Irrespective of the fabric, any black Saree, such as black georgette saree, black viscose saree, black chiffon saree, black cotton saree, black silk saree, black silk cotton saree, black shimmer georgette saree, black net saree or black glass tissue saree, looks equally alluring and can be worn at parties or social dos.
An all black Saree is usually embellished with black sequins, black bugle beads, black beads, black kundans or black stones along the border, in small motifs or in ornate pattern throughout the Saree depending upon how gorgeous the black Designer Saree should be. Paired with a matching black embellished blouse, such a shimmering black ensemble would be great for cocktail parties or evenings with special someone. Quite a few black Designer Sarees reveal a touch of contrast color and varied textures in the form of piping, ruffles or striped patches along the border in velvet, brocade, synthetic brocade, silk, etc. Alternatively, multihued embellishments along the border or in small motifs throughout the Saree also make a black Designer Sarees quite attractive. Paired with a black blouse featuring contrast sleeve, neck and waistline border similar to that of the Saree, such a black Designer Saree would make a perfect ensemble for formal parties, reception parties or other social gatherings.
